Be as competent in health as you are in your profession

Wealth is multiplied by health

It is true that having good health is, in many ways, a core prerequisite for quality of life.

Take a suit, for example. You can walk in the most intricate designer suit, and of course, it will be a delight. But what you have beneath it is also important.

If you have a strong, vital, and healthy body and a desirable physique, the experience of walking in that suit gets multiplied by that. Health enables properly enjoying wealth.

I integrate several healthy habits:

  • Heavy weightlifting
  • Heavy functional training
  • High-intensity cardio
  • Intermediate functional training and everyday exercise (working, power walking, trekking, etc.)
  • Eating healthy as a foundation, with room for life quality (whole wheat-based, protein-rich, fibers, nuts, seeds, berries, fruits, vegetables—nutritious and varied)
  • Vitamins, minerals, Omega-3 complex, magnesium, EAA, and whey protein (No performance enhancers. I want to build character, discipline, and mental strength. I can have a coffee, but that’s about it.)
  • Spending time on wellness and relaxation
  • Sleeping 7 hours a night and sometimes taking time for active resting with relaxing music
  • Reflection
  • Gratitude and appreciation

There are two ways of living in an organized manner. I mentioned before in a post that you should have a life plan, personal philosophy, and lifestyle framework.

You can do this in two ways:

  1. A more structured and scheduled approach.
  2. A flexible approach—keeping a list of activities to do every week or month, allowing for creativity and spontaneity.

For example, going for a run in the forest or on a beach one day, playing tennis another time, etc.

As long as these constructive, healthy activities happen over time, they create the effect and deliver the results we desire. You can be a vagabond, backpacker or surfer even. As long as you do certain activities each week or month, you will still move upwards.

Some things, like budgeting or business planning, might have to be more scheduled, but it’s still possible to be creative—working from cafés, hotels, sky bars, or even doing some of it at the gym.

Make your lifestyle passionate and interesting.

Be a life artist.

Today I went to the gym.

I have two workout programs that I alternate between:

  1. Plain weightlifting – a full-body program.
  2. A more functional workout with some weightlifting.

I start every workout with at least 10 minutes of high-intensity cardio, such as:

  • Intense running
  • Running with weight
  • Steep uphill walking
  • Intense cross-trainer with high resistance
  • Punching bag with jump rope

I do the plain weightlifting twice a week and the functional workout once a week.

I won’t be a bodybuilder from this, but I will achieve the physique, results, benefits, and experiences I desire.

I also need to balance my workouts with my work and business.

But doing this makes me feel like me—it makes me proud, and I can feel a sense of dignity every time I finish my last set.
The goals with this workout is simply to achieve physique, health, vitality, longevity, wellness, self esteem, enhanced sex life, strength, endurance and the ability to defend myself or others.

Start working out today and focus on the most important goal – to push your limits and strain yourself!
